The different textures in this salad, will cause you to have to chew more which results in eating slower. Taking time with your meal not only allows your body to recognize when it is full but also gives you the psychological feeling of having eaten a large meal.

It is important to note though that many salad dressing are high in calories so this type of salad is best eaten using a little lemon juice for dressing.

Oranges

Another thing you might consider is using oranges for weight loss. They will take some time to peel and because of that, your body will receive the signal in less time. That being said, oranges are without a doubt beneficial to your weight loss effort.

Broccoli

Broccoli is also another food that has high concentrates of vitamins and minerals your body needs and craves while taking more time to chew than many other vegetables. Thus broccoli too is a great way to slow down your eating and give your body time to recognize when it is sated.

When one thinks of weight loss they do not normally associate it with chocolate bars, but a 20 gram chocolate bar will actually do two different things for you.
